Hands On Studio and Ainslie Primary collaborate on The Town

106 Ainslie Primary students met with Hands On Studio artists at the Drill Hall Gallery this week to explore notions of community and create a paste up 2D town. Years 3 and 4 students viewed Hands On Studio:The Town then drew images of what they would like in their own ideal town. Together artists and students pasted up a collage of the drawings on a poster wall at the ANU.
The Drill Hall Gallery acknowledges the Ngunnawal and Ngambri peoples, the traditional custodians of the Canberra region, and recognises their continuous connection to culture, community and Country.
