Friends of the Drill Hall Gallery are invited to join curators Tony Oates and Oscar Capezio as they discuss the dialogues that form between artworks in Drill Hall Gallery’s latest exhibition ANU Art Collection: Conjunction.
A ‘conjunction’ is a connective particle hinging two or more ideas; it may act as a fulcrum between concepts, offering renewed meaning, contributing to a clearer understanding or subverting an initial impetus.
In celebrating the Art Collection, Conjunction also celebrates the culture of the Drill Hall Gallery – a culture of visual engagement to which the Friends of the Drill Hall Gallery are imperative. Come join the conversation and experience the curatorial motivations.
If not already a member you can join the Friends online, in the Gallery or over the phone.

The Drill Hall Gallery acknowledges the Ngunnawal and Ngambri peoples, the traditional custodians of the Canberra region, and recognises their continuous connection to culture, community and Country.
