You are invited to the social activation of Bonita Bub’s most recent sculptural recitation of The Donut (2013/2021).

Tuesday 4 May 7pm

This large-scale object installation comes to The Drill Hall Gallery as part of our latest exhibition ‘Out of Place’. The Donut is historically informed by a bar in the Werner Duettman designed Akademie der Künste, in Hansaviertel, Berlin. This district was enriched with “good design” in an effort to repair the post-war, battered city and restore civic life.

Fabricated with contemporary industrial materials in a clean, Modernist design, this piece is intended for accessing “the good life” – supporting its intended function of bringing people together around the presentation of art.

Please join us for a seasonal tasting of wines and nibbles selected and served by Paranormal Wines. Book now, tickets are limited.
