Visit the NGA with Drill Hall Gallery Director Terence Maloon

While the Drill Hall Gallery is being refurbished its destination piece, the ultimate treasure of the Australian National University’s art collection remains on public view…it is given pride of place at the National Gallery of Australia. Directly opposite it is Nolan’s first Ned Kelly series.

Join us for an encounter with Riverbend in a different context and explore the thematics of Nolan’s painting.

Terence will also take a stroll through the newly designed International hang at the National Gallery and provide appreciative commentary.

Meet at Riverbend at 3 pm Sunday 17 April.
