Playlist 21: Jacquie Meng
This Playlist is compiled by Jacquie Meng, who is completing an honours in painting at ANU and is a recent finalist in the ANU School of Art and Design Drawing Prize. She makes paintings/installations which reflect the constellations of meanings within diasporic cultural identity, redefining it beyond national and geographical borders. She is interested in posthuman theory, mythologies, rituals, folklore and cute things. Keep an eye out for her upcoming exhibition with Emma Rani Hodges at CCAS, You Will Never Own Me!
