Drill Hall Playlist #4 by Miroslav Bukovsky

In these times of change the Drill Hall team is compiling a series of playlists by artists, staff and Friends of the Gallery. We hope they will be a source of contemplation, creative inspiration and simple enjoyment in your day.

Our Fourth playlist is a selection of the music of the brilliant Australian Jazz trumpeter/instrumentalist and composer Miroslav Bukovsky who has performed many times at the Drill Hall Gallery, much to the delight of many. This ranges from more recent times with his collaboration with Czech pianist Emil Vicky or the Australian Pianist Andrea Keller, through to the early free jazz excursions of the Free Boppers with the legendary saxophonist Mark Simmonds. It is suggested that a good smooth Shiraz or Cabernet Sauvignon would go well with listening to his music.
