Improvised music with LENS
ANU Laptop Ensemble

Come by the ANU Drill Hall Gallery for an evening of live experimental music making with LENS, the ANU Laptop Ensemble. Surrounded by the colourful looping paintings of Ildiko Kovacs, LENS will perform three improvised sets that pair together musicians and visual artists in a collaborative multi-sensory media experience. Expect sounds synthesised from scratch, algorithmic compositions and vivid visual projections that react to noise and music. These performances are an extension of ANU-based cross-disciplinary research projects that explore the possibilities of laptops in making art and music. Light refreshments provided.

Find out more about LENS here.

Entry is FREE, all welcome.
