This month we have invited local musician Callum Henshaw to give an exclusive classical guitar recital for our members in the gallery. Callum Henshaw is one of Australia’s leading young guitarists, having performed around the world as a concert artist in music festivals, including the Tirana International Guitar Festival, the Saigon International Guitar Festival, the Melbourne International Guitar Festival, and the Canberra International Music Festival. He has won three international competitions: Córdoba (Spain), Tirana (Albania) and Melbourne. He has released two solo albums to critical acclaim, ‘Echo & Return’, and ‘Forest of Dreams’. Cal is the newest member of the long-standing guitar quartet, Guitar Trek. Having witnessed the skill this group and the diversity of their programs for more than two decades, this step marks an exciting new phase in his career. A passionate advocate of the guitar, Cal plans a tour of Australia, cycling the 2000km journey between concerts to bring music to regional audiences. Cal is proudly supported by Knobloch Strings.

Please remember to bring a mask to wear in the gallery.

Our Friends’ Nights are kindly supported by Clonakilla Wines and 1980 Chinese Restaurant.
