Jacqueline Bradley’s works combine found materials – rocks, fencing wire, and dirt – with intimate bodily objects – combs, thimbles and scarves – in playful, delicately poised combinations. Sharing the gallery with Sidney Nolan’s Riverbend, these small sculptures reflect the artist’s interaction with the landscape and articulate some of the complexities encountered when negotiating our presence in the Australian environment.
Jacqueline Bradley exhibits nationally and internationally and is a PhD candidate and lecturer in the Sculpture Workshop at the ANU School of Art and Design.
