The Canberra Chamber Collective is a semi-professional chamber group that brings a fresh and dynamic take on a wide repertoire of chamber music. Each of our players have explored their own musical tastes in the city of Canberra over the past few years from orchestras, to soul bands, to concerti, and even folk music. This ensemble brings this energy into one place, creating a unique and interesting sound.

After workshopping a library of chamber pieces, we are ready to release our take on the chamber genre at our very first concert. We are very excited to showcase a program that features a healthy mix of instrumentation, style and composers — with a full program to be available in the next weeks.

We are very fortunate to be starting off at the Drill Hall Gallery at The Australian National University. We will be opening our doors at 6:00 pm with some delicious wines available to help lubricate the ears. Then we will perform our two sets, separated by a small intermission.

The Drill Hall Gallery acknowledges the Ngunnawal and Ngambri peoples, the traditional custodians of the Canberra region, and recognises their continuous connection to culture, community and Country.
