Join Emeritis Professor Howard Morphy as he discusses art from Yirrkala, northeast Arnhem Land and his relationship with artists Narritjin and Banapana Maymuru (ANU Creative Arts Fellows, 1978).

Howard Morphy is Emeritus Professor and Head of the Centre for Digital Humanities Research at the ANU. Howard’s main fieldwork has been with the Yolngu people of northeast Arnhem Land (Yirrkala) beginning in 1974-76. He is currently Head of the Centre for Digital Humanities Research College of Arts and Social Sciences and the ANU. https://researchers.anu.edu.au/researchers/morphy-h
