Our opening hours are 10am-5pm Wednesday to Sunday.
Situated on the Australian National University campus, the gallery is housed in an historic drill hall built in the 1940s to train soldiers for the Second World War. Today the Drill Hall Gallery is the venue of choice for many of Australia’s leading contemporary artists, curators and collectors, continuing a proud tradition of impeccably presented landmark exhibitions accompanied by scholarly publications.
Visitors to the gallery will need to comply to our current COVID restrictions on entry including limited capacity to 35 visitors in the gallery at any time, mandatory mask wearing in the gallery unless exempt, in keeping with ACT Government guidelines and check-in via Check in CBR App. Please see our COVID-19 information page for more details.
