About Us
Our regular opening hours are 10am-5pm Wednesday to Sunday. We are closed Easter Friday and open Easter Saturday and Sunday.
Situated on the Australian National University campus, the gallery is housed in an historic drill hall built in the 1940s to train soldiers for the Second World War. Today the Drill Hall Gallery is the venue of choice for many of Australia’s leading contemporary artists, curators and collectors, continuing a proud tradition of impeccably presented landmark exhibitions accompanied by scholarly publications.
Visitors to the gallery will need to comply to our current COVID restrictions and in keeping with any ACT Government guidelines. Please see our COVID-19 information page for more details.
