Welcome in 2026 with our very own Anne-Marie Jean’s exhibition In the garden. Time passes at Canberra Contemporary’s Platform in Manuka.
30 years on from Jean’s debut solo exhibition at Canberra Contemporary, In the garden. Time passes continues Jean’s dialogue with the core construction blocks of landscape representation – colour, form, movement, materiality – engaged to animate expressions of physical experiences in nature.
Friends of the Drill Hall Gallery and Canberra Contemporary Members can enjoy drinks and company, while hearing from the artist, who will discuss her exhibition, and Canberra Contemporary’s Artistic Director + CEO Sophia Cai, who will talk about the history of Platform and Canberra Contemporary.
If not already a member you can join the Friends online, in the Gallery or over the phone.
